Lying down
- Lying down without any pillow on your head may bring bad luck to you.
- Lying down with your leg crossed may also bring bad luck to you.
- Never use your hand as a pillow while lying down, it symbolises a lazy person.
Travelling:
- If you travel at a long distant and a long period of time, before you live your home, look at the roof of your house. This will keep you keep you remember you home and you will be back soon.
- If any member of your family is travelling by boat or sea, the person left at home must not do any cleaning, washing or sweeping rubbish. Wait untill he reaches the destination. If not he might encounter difficulties on the way.
- If you visit a new place, upon arrival, before you do anything else, smudge a bit of soil to your fore head as a sign of welcome to the new place. The new visitor might not feel strange to the new place.
- Why is it so if you travel to a new place you will feel that it takes a long time for you to reach your destination? It is because everything that you pass by on the way (plants, animals and etc) greet you and ask where you are going.
Left-Over Food
- never throw away any left over of food in the rubbish bin. The soul of the food minght be sulky and you will not get enough food to eat in the next harvesting season.
- unfinished food should be given to your pets.
